Colour

So, I just found these photo's on my computer and realised that I had forgot to post them

This is me at Christmas time

(Hence the tree in the background)

My first time wearing my new red lipstick

I have always been more of a gloss girl

I own a ridiculous amount of varying shades of candy pink lipgloss,

But i thought it was about time to move onto the hard stuff-

Lipsticks!

So in my quest to start my lipstick collection I got this red one for my stash

My total is currently at two

This one and another Pink one

I know what you are thinking, i still have a long way to go to reach the height of my lipgloss collection

But I'm sure one day I will reach my goal! hehe!

This was a big moment the wearing of the lipstick for the first time

Was it going to suit me, would i like the colour and was it all going to come of when i eat,

so many important questions needed to be answered!

You will be pleased to know that everything went well and I really liked it on!

So, i thought i should take some photos to commemorate the big moment!

And here they are!

I will keep yous all updated on my journey of Lipstick buying as I know you will all be desperate to know the next shade that I'm going to go for, HaHa!

So, at the end of last year my mum found the most adorable shop on Etsy

called Kim Smith

She sells these beautiful charm style bangles with beads and baubles

My mum had bought quite a few different styles for her self and after hearing me and my sisters say how much we loved them (and dropping a lot of un-subtle hints!) she bought us all one for Christmas too

This is mine pictured above

I really love it

and pink is just the perfect choice of colour for me too

Mine's also has little mini charms on it with sayings like faith, love, joy etc.

You also get a matching pair of earrings too

The best thing about the bracelets are the price

They are so reasonable that you can treat yourself to a few at a time!

Oh and I know I haven't mentioned this on my blog before because i feel like everyone is going on about it but

Is this not like THE best show ever made!

I love it!

I know that we are much further behind in the UK than in America episode wise

But last night the single ladies episode got shown here

It was just beyond Classic!

Amazing!

Rock 'n' Rose

All of these pieces are from the beautiful website Rock'n'Rose

I am in love with them all

Some of the pieces are original designs and some are vintage

I can not get over how pretty the headpieces are

This year i really wanted to get some different kind of headband and I think these are exactly what i'm looking for

And the prices are between £15-£30 for them

Which isn't too expensive either

The rope one is just perfect looking for me and the Green one with the feathers is amazing too!

As well as having all the the head wear

Rock'n'Rose also has jewellery

I adore the necklaces

and I think the Alice in wonderland pendants look adorable

So last night I finally got around to watching Nick and Norah's infinite Playlist

I had read the book when it first came out and I really really loved it

And i normally always feel disappointed watching the film of a book I've read as i never feel like it's ever as good

But i have to say i really enjoyed the movie i think Micheal and Kat were the perfect people to play Nick and Norah and i thought the soundtrack was awesome too

My fave song from the movie is lover by Devendra banhart, I've put the video up so you can check it out too!

If you have been reading this blog for a while now

You will know that I am totally in love with delicate gold jewellery

So when I saw some pieces from Alex Monroe

And they were gold and delicate

I instantly became a fan

I love all his work

I am such a fan of this label

I think it just has this relaxed elegance feel about it

I think those dresses in the second last picture are just beautiful

The construction of the them looks stunning, not overtly 80's just a subtle nod to the decade

And the yellow blazer is just like summer in clothes form, right?
