This is an editorial of Gillian Zinser that i found on TFS

As you know i have been posting about Gillian for a while now

I just love her style and her character Ivy from 90210 too

But this is the first time i have really seen an editorial with her in it

I can only guess these have been ironically styled, right?

Either way i think she looks effortless and cool as always

I really think next year will be all about Gillian fashion wise

And i am sure she will start to get a lot more coverage in magazines

as i see her already starting to creep in to some of the weeklies over here

Jeffrey Campbell

These are some images from the S/S 2011 Jeffrey Campbell lookbook

I LOVE Jeffrey Campbell shoes, which is probably a strange thing to say as i don't actually own any

But i have loved them from afar for a while

The price is the only thing keeping me from my first pair of JC's

I am such a fan of a platform and a chunky heel and i can't think of any non-high end designer that is doing those two things better than this label just now

These styles have been littered all over the blog world for a while now

Although i am sure they will be sticking around well into the new year

I think the pink wedges, sparkly t-bars and floral cloth styles are all my favourites

Which one's do you like and do any of you already have a pair, are they as nice in real life?

Pretty Plum Sugar

These beautiful photos are from the lookbook of Plum Pretty Sugar
Although the beachy summery feel is a little out of season for where i live just now
It gets dark here at about 3 o'clock and it's getting sooo cold
Today i heard that we might even be getting some snow at the weekend which is just your typical Scottish November
Thats is why it seems a little strange for me to be posting these pretty beach shots
But i actually think the clothes would translate to colder temperatures well too although you would need a lot more layers
But really, robes this pretty surely need to be worn all year round, right?


The label Plum Pretty Sugar is made up of clothing, accessories and home ware
All with the distinctive floral design on them
I love that the robes are glamorous
And if i had a beach near me like the models in the pictures then i would totally be rocking out in mine along the shore

The thing that i am coveting most from the line are the lounge trousers and shorts
They would look perfect with a cable knit and big chunky scarf slung over it for a casual winter look
So cute!

I also saw on their website these pictures below
It's of a bride and her bridesmaids
I think it's such a fabulous idea for bridesmaids gifts to give everyone matching robes
It would be a lovely thing to keep from the day
And it also looks great in the pictures!

Update....

Love this song SO much and these girls even make lip-syncing cool, well kinda, right?

Sorry for the lack of blogging

It will be back to normal in a couple of days

I have some fun stuff coming on the blog and i can't wait to show you all

Also i have been making a few subtle changes to the layout recently

I have added little post-it notes to the sidebar that you can click on to take you to different pages of the blog more easily

I will be adding an 'outfit' post-it over the next few days too

Also i would love to get your opinion on my blog as i have some ideas for new things to do on it/add to it but i would love to know what you guys that actually read it think too

Think Different....

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.

The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

They’re not fond of rules.

And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change things.

They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire.

They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?

 Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?

Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Isn't it nice just to take a moment to remember that all these legends, genius and inspirations to us were once too looked upon as crazy for believing in there dreams.
And still they become these amazing creatives and sportsmen that have changed the world
Is it possible that without doubt and protests from others that these people may have not had the drive and determination to succeed as well as they have.
Is it possible that our critics are in actual fact our biggest influences hidden in close-minded disguises
Would you have achieved all you have so far without that person who told you they didn't think you could, making you push yourself to prove them wrong?

Do you think your critics are helping form the genius inside you?
I would really love to know.....

Best Red Carpet So Far.....

I think this has to be one of my favourite red carpet outfits of the year so far

Freida looks so beautiful in this beyond amazing Indian-inspired Christian Dior Resort 2011 dress

The colour is so light yet works perfectly on her

The not-too-perfect hair and gold infused make-up

paired with a few delicate statement pieces of jewellery

is just the most perfect version of modern elegance

Hush Hush...

So some of you may have already guessed with my OnePiece post the other day, that i am well and truly in winter/Christmas mode.
There is something about this time of year with the cold days and dark nights that kind of make you want to always be wrapped up and cozy

I have came across the UK label Hush
I am in love with it
You know when you come across a website and you go 'ooh i want that, ooh and that , actually i love that too'
Every piece on their site looks like it was just made to be included in my winter wardrobe
I love the way that they have styled the looks too, the layering is perfect and if i had an endless amount of money (FYI I don't) then i would wear these exact looks all through winter.

The store has the most beautiful nightwear too.  I have always wanted a pair of really pretty but still relaxing pair of pyjamas that actually match and this shop has an abundance of them

I can also imagine wearing the lounge wear in the summer just swap the chunky scarfs for a light one and add a brogue or flat shoe

I really can't decide what my favourite piece is their is just so much to choose from but from these looks i think the 1st or 5th look is probably my favourite.  Especially the chunky socks, i am so in need of a pair.

This is the best i have ever seen her look
I am never normally a fan of her with blonder hair but i think it looks amazing here
I think i am definitely going to aim to have my hair like hers in the 4th photo down by next summer the colour and length are just beautiful.
