"I’m a outlaw, I’m the big boss, I’m a gangster,On the dancefloor"

Nothing I love more than hands over-flowing with rings and this summer everyone seems to have the same idea.
Hands looked so heavy and adorned with enamel at Coachella it's a wonder how people could even lift their hands up.
These are my favourite picks of rings I have seen.
I have always been a fan of aquamarine stone and jewellery , I went through a stage (before my current stage of so wrong its right, tacky fake gold jewels) where every piece of jewellery i owned was silver with an aqua stone, its just really timeless i think and perfect for summer time with tanned skin too.  And i think I'm slowly but surely reverting back to my old aqua stone love!

I want every ring here, they are so pretty! Esp the Gold Band Cage ring!
They are all from Love Hearts and Crosses.
An amazing store, check it out if you haven't before.
Here is the links to them (the gold band only has 1 left in stock, so go fast if you want it)

Ring 1.
Ring 2.
Ring 3.
Ring 4.
Ring 5.
Ring 6.

Will you be buying any?

P.s Oh and for all those style magazines/experts and the like who say you can't wear gold and silver rings together, I say wear what you like, I for one will be wearing every color and tone of silver and gold together this summer and i hope you will be joining me! Let's make up our own fashion rules!!!

P.P.S I can not get the song from the title out of my head! Ahh too infectious!

Sunday Show and Tell

That really awkward moment when someone on the bus/train slides over a bit too far and has a sneaky look at your ipod screen and you think dang, why does it always need to be when I'm chilling out to a bit of
A1/S Club 7/N*Sync/Any other 90's boy/girlband with a questionable cool rep.....

This video makes me laugh so much,
I love when you see the panic on some of these people faces like "quick, think of a cool band name to say" HaHa!

So. what are you listening to?

P.S Sorry I haven't been able to comment back all your blogs, Blogger is having some sort of new meltdown and won't let me comment at all.  I am reading them all though!

Cath Kidston Sample Sale

So, anyone that knows me, knows how much I LOVE Cath Kidston, but if we are being honest, really who doesn't right?
If i was a rich girl (tra la la la la la la) then i would deck every surface in sight out in Cath's florals and assorted prints!
Even when i was at high school and my fellow students were decked out in Jane Norman and Warehouse school bags i was skipping around with my oil-cloth pink spotted cath shopper, they were bemused to say the least!

So when i got an invite to the Cath Kidston press day and a sample sale, which i unfortunately couldn't attend because of the small fact that at last check London wasn't in Scotland,
I knew the Right person to send along, my sister Michelle.
Seriously if i love Cath Kidston, then she is obsessed by Cath Kidston, her wedding gifts looked like a shrine to the floral queen herself!
I am going to pass the blogging stick over to Mich, to fill you on on her press day adventures!
Thanks sister!
Are you a fan of Cath?

So, unfortunately for my sis, she was unable to attend the new Cath Kidston A/W preview collection and sample sale but fortunately for me, I live in London and was only too happy to go along in her place. Say the words Cath, Kidston, preview, sample and sale all in one sentence to me and I am sold!!! I've loved the brand for years and was excited to see what was on offer for A/W 2011. The preview was held in the vaults at the RSA, a really beautiful setting. The crypt like room and low lighting really made a perfect showcase for the Modern Heirlooms collection.
One of the lovely PR girls gave me a tour of what was on offer, pointing out some new designs and patterns and some alternative takes on old favourites. Considering I get excited about Cath Kidston tea towels, it's safe to say that I was very impressed with the new collection. Some of the stand out pieces for me were the fab new jumper designs, if you were ever a Brownie or a Girl Guide you will love their retro jumpers which even Brown Owl could rock. It's just a shame Brownies weren't as cool when I was 10!! Another favourite is the new bird print which features on bags and scarves and everything in between. There is a beautiful sheepskin coat to lust after which I know my sis would have loved, again sorry you couldn't make it x The star of the show for me though was the Christmas table. I know what you're thinking, a Christmas table in May? It's just wrong. But as the biggest Christmas freak, I kept being drawn back to it to marvel at everything from crackers to tablecloth, napkins, plates and every other possible item you could want on your own Christmas table.
After having a good look around the new pieces I then headed to the sample sale which was fantastic. I don't think I could have enough florals, spots and stripes in my home if I tried. I managed to pick up a few bargains and not just for myself either, I know, I'm generous to a fault. And if that wasn't enough I received a free magazine and super beach bag at the till. All in all a perfect morning.
The new collection will start hitting stores in August and I promise you that it won't disappoint. All that's left for me to say is I heart Cath Kidston. Oh yeah and thanks again sis!

Accessorize is a store which I have always really loved browsing in, they always have such a lovely collection of jewellery and summer clothes and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying Ithink it's the ultimate UK Airport shop,(apart from WH Smith obvz!) perfect to pick up that last minute bikini or flip flops you've forgotten to get before your trip.
But apart from those last minute purchases I have to admit i haven't ever bought much more than that from it in the past.
The reason being the prices of their products.
I remember picking up rings or bangles that Ive loved in it and being shocked at how much they cost compared to say Topshop or primark where obviously the quality varies but still a ring that's going to turn your finger green(and let's be honest they all do) will do so whether you pay £15 from accessories or £3 from primark, right?

Anyway recently i saw these new ad campaigns accessorize has put out and i fell in love with the mix of tribal prints and 1970's/1960's hippy inspired designs so i went and checked them out and to my surprise the shop seems to have had a bit of a makeover price wise since i was last in.  Things are definitely priced a lot more reasonable and there seems to be much more choice too.
I was so pleased as i really really want a lot from their new collections.
I am in LOVE with the feather headpiece so beautiful!
I have put together a little collage of things in store right now that i thought would be perfect for your summer holidays.
How lovely is that bag, and just the right size for taking abroad, right?
And i think the fan (i couldn't find a price for it, sorry!) has to be a must have this summer, i am definitely getting myself one, the ultimate chic accessory for those (fingers crossed!) long hot summer days.
What do you guys think. Are you a fan of Accessorize and their new collection?
I would urge you if you have been put off by their prices in the past like me, to check it out again, you might be pleasantly surprised! Here is the website- Accessorize

So because of the whole Tonsillitis thing/Magazine work/Having no other free time! I haven't done any outfit posts for ages.
So I thought it was about time i put something up.
I realised that i still haven't shown all my B'Day gifts yet (post coming soon) from a couple of weeks ago and as i looked though my B'day photos there were none where my actual full outfit was visible the only ones where of the neck up, so i thought why not do a make-up post instead!

Apologies for the ridic close ups of our faces!
Me and my sister got a bit bored waiting for everyone to arrive so we done the obligatory ' pull funny/stupid faces to the camera' and this was the outcome, We look like such posers, but we are really not, promise,HeHe!

For the first time ever i wore false lashes (well not technically as when i was like 4i used to wear one of my other sisters lashes when she was done with them, ya' know just to hang out with my Barbies and stuff, coz' that's just how i roll!Ha)

It was much harder than I thought to put them on but i know that it's just something to get used too.
I got these ones from boots, they are the Eylure girls aloud ones as I'd heard so much good stuff being said about them.
I naturally have kinda long full lashes so it really was just for fun that i tried them, but they stayed on all night and didn't even start coming off at the edges which i know they can do sometimes, I must admit by the end of the night i really got used to them and will definitely wear them again but they were super long so I would say they would only work for night!

I got my first ever Barry M lipstick too.
I have only ever bought MAC lipstick before and this was my first venture over to Barry M.
I had actually saw this colour mentioned on another blog and thought it looked beeeautiful!
It doesn't really show too well in these photos but its really coral/peachy its number 53.
I would say that this lipstick has no-where near the staying power as MAC's, i mean it might have something to do with the colour being light but i felt like it came off really quick.
Although to be honest i really don't mind as it was only about £5 or something so compared to what you pay at MAC it was a total bargain and it was really pretty and exactly what i was looking for!

Oh and i just had to include this last picture of the lantern getting lit (by my mama and other sister)
I got given loads and loads of them to set off on my birthday, everyone went outside to watch them be fly away and we had all wrote wishes on them too.
It was a really weird humid day, it was the end of all that lovely weather we had been having and because by this point it was late the air was really heavy and we couldn't get them lit.
So by the end we had nearly set the decking in my back garden on fire as the lantern slide across it rather than fl,y when it did eventually go it came back down in my neighbours tree and set it ablaze.
The whole group of us by this point had ran around my whole house following it shrieking 'its coming down, its coming down' goodness knows what passers by must have thought!
Undeterred, we tried again, the next one set my neighbours leg on fire (he was fine, he just danced about a bit and put it out , again cue everyone screaming!)
The next one then burst, and the last one went MIA after it came halfway down, all you could smell was burning so people went on search of it, finally the found it on fire at my neighbours fence( again it was ok, they managed to get it out)
It was crazy but so funny!
The moral of the story is, if you are going to light these things make sure you have a fire extinguisher,Ha!
X

(I am the one on the left with the greeny nail polish BTW!)

New Fashion Girl

Photobucket

I really like the way she is pairing basics with more evening pieces for the red carpet, for a more relaxed elegant look.

I can't believe she is like 17 already, it feels like it was just yesterday when she was in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory!

She seems to be transitioning into 'grown-up' style really easily, and her style looks really natural and not too old for her either.

Also i have total hair envy with her, the perfect shade of blonde, Huh?

What do you think are you a fan of AnnaSophia's style?

Many of you probably already read her blog because it's amazing but I wanted to share with you all that one of my favourite Bloggers, Sincerely Jules has launched her own T-shirt line.
And me being someone who had always dreamed of having their own Tee line I just find it so inspirational to see that she has done this so successfully, she is super talented!

I always find her style so refreshing she seems to be able to have the perfect mix of casual and glamorous in every outfit, so enviable!
And it's so lovely to see that has transferred into her line, and the way she has styled the beautiful Lookbook too!

So if your looking for a prefect Tee to go with just about everything I would go check out her online store HERE the prices are really reasonable and from what i can see she ships worldwide!
And if you haven't already check out her blog too!

A little while ago I got a Lomography ActionSampler Camera.
I had wanted a lomograpghy camera for years but they are all expensive and i didn't know if i would be any good at using them so I decided to start off with the cheapest one first.
So, last week i decided to get the first film developed that I'd taken, because of time, i ended up getting it developed at Asda, but the next time i think i will definitely try WestEnd Cameras (As recommended to me by someone on twitter)

I had that whole fear that the film would be just full of blacked out images but i was beyond happy when i got it back and saw all these photos.
I have just put a few of my favourites up here.
I really am so pleased at how they turned out especially it being my first try.
The satisfaction of taking a picture and waiting and waiting and waiting on the spool finishing then waiting and waiting and waiting again on getting them developed then tearing open the envelope and finally after so long that you've even forgotten what the pictures are of, you finally get to see them, it's just so much more rewarding i think, than taking a quick snap on a digital camera!

I was actually really surprised with the quality of the images from Asda too, i mean obviously they go a bit more blurry when you upload them but i thought it was good.  It cost I think about £6 or £7 as it was a big film but then they deduct money for every image that doesn't turn out, so i think mines ended up about £5.50 or something and the CD only cost 97p.

The pictures were mostly taken on an exceptionally sunny day in my back garden (my sisters feet in the white shoes!) and the others where just random things i thought were pretty.
I think my favourite one has got to be the sunset at the top.  At one point a little while ago the skies where I live went through this period of about two weeks of having the  most beautiful sunsets and one night I caught this one!
Oh and I love my double rainbow too,Ha!

Let me know what you think?
Are you a fan of lomograpghy too?

I have always been a fan of Vanessa Hudgens style since she left the whole 'High School Musical' thing behind.
I love that she is basically a walking advert for Blue Planet as she wears so many of their clothes.  I adore that store but as it doesn't ship here/USA shipping too expensive then i can live vicariously through V-Hudgens style.

I think more so than any other 'Young Hollywood' starlet, you can see Vanessa's style transformation the most.
I think early on it was clear to see that she was going to go down the whole boho 60's 70's vibe (my personal favourite) but i think its so refreshing to see that she has went from having sort of trying to do themed outfits to now having really grown into herself and her style and having a really natural style that doesn't look contrived anymore and seems like an extension of who she is, which for me is a sign of someone who has really came into their own, style wise and personality wise.
Maybe all she ever needed to do all along was ditch the Efron and go dancing bare foot at Coachella....Who knows?
Are you a fan of The Hudgens (Her new name on here I'm thinking?)
I really really want a green cargo jacket like the one she is wearing above, so pretty!

Oh and if you are looking for something super pretty for the weekend,
Why not check out the latest womens clothing collection at www.very.co.uk.
You will LOVE them, I'm going to do a post on VERY.co.uk soon!

Teenbook Magazine

I am back.....!
I'm semi-recovered from my Tonsillitis (swollen neck still intact!) but I couldn't wait to come and show you something sooo exciting!
For a little while now I have been working as an Assistant Editor on a new magazine called Teenbook.  And have been desperate to tell you all about it and now that it has officially launched today i can.

Here is the official word-
Teenbook Magazine is Focusing on fashion, music, art and culture, As sister magazine to the existing and successful ‘Sketchbook Magazine’, Teenbook provides a platform for the young creative mind to indulge. Identifying new youth attitudes and shaping the future, Teenbook is a new edge magazine. Available quarterly from May 2011, Teenbook Magazine will be the must read for teenagers aged 13-19 years.

So basically its a youth magazine but not as sugary sweet as the one's on the British market today, more Teenvogue and Nylon than Sugar (used to be) and bliss.

It has been such a great experience getting to work on a new magazine from the start and amazing to see it in all its glory today!

The editor Sara, has done such an amazing job putting it together and it has been so genuienly lovely getting to work with someone as passionate about putting out something new and refreshing for teenagers (and anyone who likes pretty magazines) as me, not to mention our shared love for american TV and anything Kardashian related!

So without further ado, here is issue one of Teenbook Magazine with the pretty damn awesome Emily Osment on the front....
I really hope you like it!
Let me know what you think?

Way's to get in touch and tell us what you think....

Sorry for the absence.
I have  tonsillitis and all the lovely things that come along with that going  on just now (fever.flu..etc).
And am currently getting better wrapped up in bed eating calippo's and watching Gilmore Girls and Heartland which seem to be the most comforting TV in the world.
I'll be back soon....X
