Dream Catch Me

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Tee- Forever 21
Necklace - EE Jewellery
Jeans- ASOS
Shoes - ASOS
Blazer - River Island

A little Monday outfit for y'all.
Nearly everything I own is flowing and loose or fringed and draped or some other type of shape that resembles a bohemian style.
That's the kinda things I love to wear, things that can be layered and twisted and knotted and thrown on top of everything.  Capes, kimonos, scarfs, pashminas, you name it i've got it.
Blame it on my love of the Olsen's hobo chic and love of the 1960's and 70's anything-goes-bohemian -vibe.
So when I saw this blazer in River Island it's the complete opposite of what I normally go for but when I tried it on I loved that it was a little bit jazzier than your average blazer and the shape and fit was so perfect, so I knew I had to have it!

So as a contrast to the structure of the blazer and the skinny jeans I added this beautiful dreamcatcher necklace to my outfit, this is right up my street and it matches the big dreamcatcher i have up on the wall in my room too!

I love that its so tiny but is so intricate and I have been wearing it with everything lately to just add that sweet touch to all my outfits, I have seen versions on suede string but I like the gold chain better as I think it gives it more of a luxe feel.

You can buy the dreamcatcher from the beautiful EE Jewellery.  The dreamcatchers are £17 and come in loads of different colours.
EE has so many lovely new things in store, I really want this ring, so beyond pretty!

What do you think, are you a fan of Dreamcatchers?

Illustrated People

Photobucket Photobucket

I have been a fan of this brand for such a long time and it's so nice to see their sparkly new website with their expanded range on it.

I love everything down to the cotton they use, to the styling and photography.
I love when you see a label just get it right, like your a fan of the actual brand as much as you are a fan of the clothing, it goes hand in hand to create something pretty beautiful.
Everything has a certain effortless feel to the whole brand, you know?
Like you can put on one of their sweaters with a pair of skinny jeans and your good to go, like that's all you need to make you look ready for adventure.....

If you haven't taken a peek at their website then i think you might fall in love with it.
Take a peek HERE
You can buy the designs also HERE at Topshop
And HERE at ASOS and of course on their own site too.

The prices are really reasonable, with sweaters being around £40 and Tee's being about £30 give or take a few pennies.

Are you a fan?
What's your favourite piece from this new collection?
I think mines has got to be the Soldier sweater or this sweater both are just epic and would kinda just go with everything.right?

Harvard Hoodie- Inkwell and Ivy

Hellooo Beautiful people,
How are you all?
I feel like it's been so long since I've put any form of an outfit/make-up post up so I thought I should make a little appearance on my blog today.

I have just been super busy with my store, with getting all my designs done and getting them printed, doing all the behind the scenes stuff for it and all the boring paper-work too.

It's crazy as for as long as I can remember I have wanted to have my own Small business and in the past i have done little things here and there business wise but nothing as big as this, even though its still small, if you know what I mean.  I have so many designs waiting to get printed and I am going to be having notebooks in the store really soon as well as pens and pencils and eventually lots of other Little gifts too. It's so exciting for me to see it all coming together even though just now it's in its most basic form and I haven't got too many of my products online yet, I am just so happy that it's started you know, and that I took the leap to do it, to try it and hope that it all works!

That's the scariest and hardest thing i think, for me anyway, was just to start it.  To commit to the hard work and the time and effort it takes to do something like this and I suppose more than anything to put my work out there with the belief that people will like it.  I have always wanted my own business no matter how small it is to start with, but I have saw so many people with the same dreams that i have with so much talent but they have never made that big step to start something up for fear of it not working.  And i suppose that's what holds everyone back to a certain extent, thinking that they don't want to put their all in to something that in the end might not work out how they would like, I know i have had the same thoughts but you know what I think, the only way your gonna know if it works is to try, right?

If it all doesn't go to plan, so what, huh?
Sometimes you need to go down a different path, a longer one, a wider one, a less travelled one to find out where you're really meant to end up and you might even end up with something better than you could even have hoped for.
And that's what I'm doing right now with The Pretty.  I am having the best time setting up my store and my hopes are high.  I'm excited to see where this little business journey takes me....

I know I don't normally write too much about my non-blogging life on here as I try to keep it all fashion related but to be honest I thought i should probably fill in the gaps of why i haven't been blogging as much as usual and also the thing that has helped me the most whilst starting everything up is reading blogs about other people journeys of starting up their own shops or business, hearing their stories and how they have achieved what they have or what they are trying to, is just so inspiring to me and it's so easy when you are doing something new to say 'uh its so unfair that so and so's shop or blog or whatever has became a success over night and mines hasn't' but in reality that happens to very few, most people put in sooo much hard work behind the scenes but just don't mention it hence why it gives the illusion of sudden success, it helps to know sometimes that your not the only one working hard, right?
And i didn't want it to seem like i have just started up this shop out of nowhere as i haven't really spoke too much about it on here before and then i have started to blog about my products but i have been working on it for a while, its just now that its all set up that i can share it with you all.....

Have you started up your own small business or store, if you have i would love for you to share any advice or words of wisdom you have for all us newbies!

I hope I haven't bored you with my non-blogging life post and feel free to ask me any questions you have about the shop or stating something like that up....

Dear Dune

Photobucket Photobucket
Dear Dune,
Has anyone ever told you lately that your pretty special.
Because if they haven't well....they should have.
Because you quite frankly my dear are...
This morning an incident occurred at around 12.30.
I saw...oh gosh this is hard for me to say...
THE.PRETTIEST.SHOES.IN.THE.WORLD....
It's hard because I LOVE shoes...big time.
And to declare that you like one pair more than others well its like picking a favourite child or a favourite Olsen, pretty impossible but inevitable (FYI - Ashley is my Homegirl, her hair beats MK's and Elizabeth's hands down)
But this morning when I set my eyes on these little beauties my heart went Ba-doom
Ba-doom and everyone knows when your heart goes Ba-doom Ba-doom it's serious.
Like, normally Mr Gosling is the only thing makes makes hearts do that...its the big league we are talking about people, none of your clooney heart fluttering shizzle, no a full on Gosling Ba-doom Ba-doom was what these shoes induced.

So yeah...um I just thought you should know that you are awesome for making shoes like this.
As they are pretty damn beautiful indeed.
So um....anyone up for lending me around ...um...let's see £99?

Love you longtime Dune

Ever Ours

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Last week I stumbled upon this little gem of a store.
It's called Ever Ours (how cute is that name?) and sells some of the cutest/sweetest dresses around and better than that they are totally affordable.

These are my favourites from the store, I struggled to pick which one I like best but I think it's got to be the polka dot one, although the white lace one is a super close second, how Wimbledon-style is that, so perfect for summer time!

I LOVE finding little stores like this, you always end up finding such unusual. sweet pieces!

Are you already a fan of Ever ours?

My Little Pony

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Gosh I LOVE this collection from Wildfox so much.
Is it bad that I kinda want to get married in the dress in the 8th picture...Do you think it's inappropriate to wear a dress that says Rodeo Queen?
Got to be honest though I've always fancied myself a cowboy, so it could work......the fear of horses could so easily be fixed...right?

What do you guys think...are you a fan of these pieces?

Sorry for being a bit MIA from the blog last week, I was working on The Pretty, there is some awesome/exciting changes ahead and I can not wait to share them with you all...exciting times!
