Made in Chelsea star the new face of Lipsy’s VIP range
Millie Mackintosh, star of reality show, Made in Chelsea, has been named as the new face of Lipsy’s VIP range. The Lipsy London range is the fashion house’s more exotic and sophisticated collection, with more embellishment and intricate detail than normal Lipsy dresses. When asked about being the new face of the VIP range, Mackintosh said: “I’m so excited to be modelling Lipsy’s new season VIP collection as the range is absolutely gorgeous!”

She went on to add: “the brand always makes such great eveningwear and I love the exclusivity of the VIP collection – all of the dresses would be perfect for any red carpet event!” The collection itself includes 17 dresses, all created from luxurious fabrics in a range of colours, with plenty of on-trend detailing. This season will see the re-emergence of pastels, and Lipsy’s VIP range has a number of fabulous pastel-coloured dresses for shoppers to choose from.

Mackintosh’s selection as the face of the VIP range has raised a few eyebrows, but it seems that the range and model have been largely well received. Following in the footsteps of former Lipsy ambassadors – young, wealthy socialites including Paris Hilton, Jessica Lowndes and Alexis Jordan – it seems that Mackintosh has no shortage of style. The capsule collection consists of evening wear and sophisticated party dresses to ensure younger fashion lovers have plenty of gorgeously glamorous options to choose from.

The range may not be the cheapest available, but shoppers will certainly be able to tell how their extra money was spent. The range is priced from £90 - £140, and is available from online retailers and high street stockists. With the summer fast approaching, these could be some of the hottest dresses of the season.  There are a number of designs on offer, including maxi dresses with thigh high splits, and shorter, ruffled dresses in gorgeous pastels. With plenty of textures and colours to choose from, the range is ideal for young, successful Britons who want to look and feel their best this summer.

The new Lipsy VIP range comes on the back of a successful retail season for the brand in 2011, with sales up by 23% at the end of January 2012, compared to the previous year.
